Welcome to Yulia Bortun | Calm Luxury, Embodied. To preserve the quiet, restorative nature of our space and ensure the highest quality of professional care, please review our studio policies. By booking a session or purchasing a programme, you agree to these terms.
1. CANCELLATION & RESCHEDULING POLICY
Your session is a dedicated block of time reserved exclusively for your system’s restoration.
24-Hour Notice: We kindly require at least 24 hours’ notice for any cancellations or rescheduling requests.
Late Cancellations: Cancellations or changes made less than 24 hours before your scheduled appointment will be subject to a fee equal to 50% of the session value.
No-Shows: Failure to arrive for a scheduled appointment without prior notice will result in a charge of 100% of the session value.
Programme Packages: For multi-session packages, late cancellations or no-shows will result in that specific session being automatically deducted from your remaining balance.
2. DIGITAL DETOX & STUDIO ATMOSPHERE
Our space is dedicated to silence, deep presence, and leaving external demands behind.
Mobile Devices: We kindly ask that you switch your phone and all wearable smart devices to silent mode (not vibrate) or turn them off before entering the treatment room.
Disconnecting to Reconnect: To fully support your nervous system in letting go of internal control, please leave all notifications, calls, and digital distractions outside the session space.
3. ARRIVAL & LATE ATTENDANCE
Our sessions unfold in silence and without rush. To fully experience the transition into relaxation, timing is essential.
Arrival Time: Please arrive 5 to 10 minutes prior to your scheduled time to settle in, enjoy a warming tea, and complete your somatic consultation form.
Late Arrival: If you arrive late, your session will still end at the originally scheduled time so that the next client’s experience is not disrupted. The full service fee for the scheduled duration will apply.
4. PAYMENTS, PACKAGES & CONDITIONS
Payment Methods: Payments are accepted via major credit cards, electronic transfers, or through our integrated online booking system (Setmore).
6-Month Expiration: A purchased 5-session programme is strictly valid for 6 months from the date of purchase. If the sessions are not fully utilized within this 6-month timeframe, any remaining balance will automatically expire and cannot be refunded, credited, or reinstated.
Scheduling: To protect the continuity and rhythm of your restoration process, all remaining appointments for your 5-session programme must be scheduled during your initial visit. It is the client’s responsibility to maintain and complete this agreed schedule within the validity period.
Non-Transferable: Programmes are highly individualized to your specific wellness track. They are strictly individual and cannot be shared, split, or transferred to any other person.
Final Sale & Refunds: In accordance with Quebec consumer standards, all sales of individual sessions, multi-session programmes, and ritual packages are final and non-refundable.
5. HEALTH, ETHICS & SCOPE OF PRACTICE
Receipts for Insurance: As a licensed massage therapist, receipts for insurance purposes (reçus d’assurance) are available upon request for the massage portion of your services.
Scope of Practice: All somatic bodywork, relaxation massage, and holistic wellness guidance offered in this studio are strictly non-medical and educational. We do not provide medical, psychological, or clinical nutritional treatment.
Right of Refusal: The studio maintains a strictly professional, therapeutic environment. Any inappropriate behavior, comments, or boundary violations will result in the immediate termination of the session, with the full service fee charged and no refunds issued.
6. CLIENT CONFIDENTIALITY & PRIVACY
Your somatic landscape and personal details are handled with the highest level of care. All consultation forms, health histories, and personal reflections shared during your sessions remain strictly confidential and are never shared with third parties.
7. RIGHT TO REFUSE SERVICE
Yulia Bortun Wellness reserves the right to refuse or discontinue service at the practitioner’s sole professional discretion.
Service may be refused or terminated due to health, safety, hygiene, professional boundary concerns, inappropriate behavior, incomplete health information, or any circumstance in which treatment is considered unsuitable or outside the practitioner’s scope of practice.
The practitioner also reserves the right to decline future appointments when a professional therapeutic relationship cannot be established or maintained.
